Description

Purpose of the job

To initiate, drive and implement skills development for all employees of the company, in accordance with the agreed Skills Development and BEE plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation of Skills Development programmes

  • Learner certification and close out of programmes

  • Relationship Management

  • Ad hoc responsibilities

Requirements

JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS 

  • Relevant diploma or degree in HR (Training and Development) or retail management (Essential)

  • At least two years’ experience in HR or retail management

  • Experience in training and development would be an advantage 

  • Experience in Skills Development facilitation (Advantage)

  • Computer Literacy: MS Office and/or Google Suite

  • Strong administrative skills

  • Numerical literacy

  • Knowledge of SETA funding processes

  • Knowledge of accredited programme delivery (i.e. learnerships; internships; skills programmes)

  • Code 8 Drivers License

  • Willingness to travel within South Africa

  • Ability to attend external Skills Development engagements independently 

  • Competencies required: Performing under pressure, Results oriented, Planning, Drive, Personal Development, Providing Feedback, Creating Support, Organisational Sensitivity and Integrity
