Purpose of the job 

To proactively drive processes /plans that consistently satisfy the needs of both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Implement the marketing strategy for the Marketing team 

  • Compile and manage the promotional events Calendar 

  • Brief external and internal creative and media 

  • Ensure the timeous and accurate delivery of TTL campaigns  

  • Liaison with internal and external partners 

  • Project management 

  • Post promotional reviews

  • Budget management

  • People management 

Requirements

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree/diploma, preferably in marketing or related field 

  • Computer Literacy (MS Office and Google Suite) 

  • 3- 5 years’ experience in a marketing related environment ( Telecommunications or Financial services would be an advantage) 

  • Advertising experience would be an advantage

  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills 

  • Budget and people management experience would be an advantage 

  • Computer Proficiency (MS Office and Google Suite)

  • Clear understanding of the South African retail landscape 

  • Willingness to travel 

  • Own transport required
